Katabi Town Council in partnership with an Non-government Organization - Katabi Civil Society Organizations(CSO) Network , reached out to the Rotary Club of Lubowa to participate in planting trees in 19 Primary and secondary schools. Schools in which trees were planted include:
1.Nkumba Day and Boarding primary school - 30trees
2. St. Savio Kisubi - 100trees,
3. May Christian College - 50 trees
4. Entebbe UMEA P.S - 35trees,
5. Bright S.S - 120trees
6. Kigero P.S - 48trees,
7. Bugiri Public P.S - 50trees
8.St. Kizito Namugonde - 68trees
9. St. Denis Voc. Inst Nkumba -40trees
10. Kitala COU P.S -20trees
11.St. Luke P.S - 20trees
12.Kids Pioneer P.S - 40trees
13. Kisubi Boys P.S -62 trees
14. Nkumba Quran P.S -50 trees
15. Donozio Kigero P.S -50 trees
16.Bulega P.S -40trees
17. St. Thereza P.S - 55 trees
18. St. Charles Lwanga P.S 80 trees
19. Lovely Hands P.S - 42 trees

The Katabi Town Council invited the Rotary Club of Club to participate in the project.
Project Impact: How the project will help the community after the project ends
There is an improved learning and green environment in all the schools where the trees were planted. Trees will in future offer shade under which the students / pupils can learn and also impact on sustaining the environment around them.
